Plannet is a terminal-first assistant for that surface: LLM generation, optional Jira flows, and work tracking that attaches git context when you are already in a repo. BYO model or the hosted proxy.

Where it got hard

Jira REST flows with validation and rate limits, plus `plannet track` that persists non-git work and attaches branch, commit, and changed files when cwd is a repo.

Two LLM client shapes (completions vs chat) aimed at the same product surface.

Hosted API keys (`pk_…`) verified with bcrypt, cache-aside in Redis, and usage recorded against the proxy.
